James J. Towey

James J. Towey has broad experience in small business and individual tax services, financial consulting, business planning, evaluation, and management services. Over the last 30 years he has worked with management in oil & gas, manufacturing, insurance, software development and independent sales business´, providing them with financial and tax guidance. Mr. Towey has provided much of his expertise to individual taxation and income tax resolution with federal, state, and local authorities. He has also non-profit experience, advising and providing the financials for local homeowners’ associations in the Houston area.

James J Towey is a CPA, a member of the Texas Society of CPA’s, past Treasurer of the Clear Creek Education Foundation and a current Director of the Clear Brook City Municipal Utility District serving southeast Houston. Additionally, Jim is a long time parishioner of St Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church and has been married to Susan, his wife of 41 years.

He is extremely proud of Jennifer (Notre Dame, 2008) and Daniel (Texas A&M, 2011, UH Clear Lake, 2016) in their choice of professional careers and caring spouses. Most of all, he truly loves his four grandchildren that add to a most beautiful and fulfilling quality of life!
